Barnacle: The Barnacle is one of the “binker barn” homes designed by William Turnbull.  Although the binker barn style is “reflective of the working building form of the region,” the Barnacle itself evokes an atmosphere of utmost comfort and serenity. Deyoung: Nestled among the cypress trees above Blackpoint Beach, the Deyoung is one of the “Hedgerow Houses,” designed by Joseph Esherick.  Although it was remodeled in 2002 the Deyoung has kept its natural cozy charm and sod roof. Nearly every room enjoys magnificent views of crashing waves along Del Mar Point. Ecco: The Ecco home is a one of a kind experience, designed by Bob Hartstock. This artistic home will transfer you into the land of milk and honey with its cozy alcoves and painted murals by David Floyd.  The reversed floor plan offers plenty of privacy for two couples with one master bedroom downstairs and one upstairs off the kitchen, dining and living room. Esherick: The Esherick home is one of the original six Sea Ranch homes. Joseph Esherick   not only designed this house, but also called it home. A wonderful path meanders across a footbridge and over a brook, down to the stone patio. Galleons Point: Galleons Point is located on 1.5 acres on its own peninsula. This design won architects Mc Cue, Boone and Tomsick  the American Institute of Architects Honor award in 1970. Galleons Point has been restored to conform to the original plan and ambiance. From the entry level this home offers incredible breath taking views in 3 directions. If you don’t first find the sweeping south coast view distracting, you can enjoy  a good book from the solarium couch. Hobbit House: The Hobbitt is an earlier Sea Ranch home designed by Gary Hansen and Ed Weiner. It was designed to resemble a “covered bridge.” The three living pods are connected by this window bridge. Although the Hobbitt was recently remodeled with high end materials and appliances, it has kept its charm and whimsical magic. Moore #9 Condo: The renown architect Charles Moore designed and lived in this condo.
