Galleons Point / Unit 3 Block 1 Lot 9 /TOT ID#2154/ 2 level home / 6 person occupancy including children over 11 years of age. 3 bedrooms plus den – 2 baths (Sheets and towels provided for 2 king, 1 set of bunks plus trundle). Internet access, forced air heat, 2 woodstoves, cable with 27″ wide TV, DVD, stereo, iPod dock, CD, washer/dryer, char BBQ, some deck furniture, garage.

Galleons Point will accommodate up to six people in three comfortable bedrooms with two and a half baths. Children over the age of eleven are welcome. The living area of the home is one very large space divided into three areas – kitchen/dining and two separate seating areas each with its own spectacular view of the coast. One view south toward Black Point Beach and Biehler Point and one view north toward Canada. These are both stupendous views that visitors comment on over and over again. A telescope is provided so that guests can watch the whales as they pass by the home during their annual migrations between the Arctic Ocean and Baja California.

This very large home is ideal for families or several couples. There is plenty of space for everyone, whether they want togetherness or a bit of private time. A grand piano provides an extra that you don’t find in very many vacation rental homes. The large dining table is the ideal place for board games in the evening and there is television if you want a bit of modern entertainment. It’s even possible for some to watch television while others play cards, congregate to contemplate important international policies, or just discuss what happened today and what is on the schedule for tomorrow. There is room for it all. And then we go outside onto your own private peninsula with views toward the other side of the world. The Spanish treasure ships that gave this home it’s name are gone, but the magic of the sea is still there in all of it’s splendor. By day, sit in the Adirondack chairs and realize that you are directly below the great North American Flyway, and by night, be amazed by the heavens as you have never seen them before. (Remember that we are serious about protecting our dark sky.)

The home has central heating and there are laundry facilities available, but out of sight. There is complimentary internet connectivity and free domestic telephone service. Sorry, no pets. Starting at $1,112, two nights; $3,047, seven nights.

When it is time to go for a walk go out of your front door and voila, you are on the bluff top trail that runs virtually the entire length of Sea Ranch. The Sea Ranch Lodge and its Black Point Grill is just down the trail to the south, as is Black Point Beach. The Moonraker Recreation Center is also within easy walking distance.
